Boris speaks at anti-Heathrow rally

Mayor of London Boris Johnson spoke at a rally in Barnes against any expansion at Heathrow.

The BBC reports hundreds of people turned out at the weekend rally to hear the Mayor say: “I think my party, the Conservatives, would be utterly nuts to go into the next election with the possibility of a Heathrow third runway on the table.”

Zac Goldsmith and Justine Greening, MPs for flightpath constituencies and known to be opposed to expansion at the UK’s largest airport, also spoke.
