Boris sets housing targets

Boris Johnson has set his housing targets for all London Boroughs to replace the Livingstone ones.

The Mayor of London has agreed targets fo affordable homes with all Boroughs except Bromley and are contained in the just-released Mayor’s Housing Strategy. Across London they add up to just over 40,000, well short of his original 50,000 target, but the target date is 2011, a year earlier than the target date for his higher target.

Brent is asked to deliver 1600, Ealing 1065, Hammersmith & Fulham 967, Harrow 656, Hillingdon 598, and Hounslow 730.
