Bollo lane plans in

Transport for London has submitted plans for a 900 home development in South Acton.

The plans, designed by HOK, involve a hybrid planning application for the site, which is a long strip of land between Bollo Lane and the railway including the site of the locally listed Frank Pick house.

The application seeks full planning permission for the demolition of the existing buildings and for the building of phases one and two, which would provide up to 550sqm of industrial floorspace, up to 125sqm of flexible commercial space, and up to 200 new affordable and market residential units in a block up to 25 storeys. There will also be a replacement train crew accommodation building and highways improvements.

The outline element, phases three and four, involves further demolition and the building of 1,800sqm of industrial space, 175sqm of commercial space, and up to 700 new affordable and market homes in eight blocks of between eight and 18 storeys. There will also be new open and amenity space and associated public realm works.
