Berkeley plans for Costume Store to be onsite in April

Berkeley First plan to get their scheme for the former BBC Costume Store moving as soon as possible.

Speaking at MIPIM, Alison Dowsett of Berkeley said they hoping to get planning consent for the 20 storey scheme at the end of March, and to get on site in April. The building will contain 730 student accomodation units for the University of the Arts, which are required as soon as can be delivered.

The Carey Jones designed plans also include retail and gallery space, and involve demolishing the existing building on the site at the Southern Gateway to Park Royal.
