The owners of a parcel of land required for the development of the new Brentford FC stadium have told an appeal hearing that they want to develop the site themselves.
First Industrial (FIL) appealed the compulsory purchase order served on them as the owners of Capital Court, part of the land required for Brentford’s consented Lionel Road Stadium development.
FIL have told the appeal that they now want to develop the land in partnership with the club. Both Brentford FC and the Council believe FIL are trying through the appeal to increase the sum to be paid for the site.
