The former Featherstone Primary School is the subject of a detail planning application from troubled Barratt Homes.
The £18.6m scheme involves the redevelopment of the former school site with the construction of two 3-storey residential buildings and one 2 to 4-storey residential building. Part of the locally-listed building will be retained to provide 148 private residential units.
A new vehicular access is included from Featherstone Road, this is in conjunction with the associated redevelopment of the Salisbury Depot site to provide 103 affordable housing units.
