Barnet’s move to Harrow set for approval

Barnet FC’s proposed move to Harrow has been recommended for approval.

A report to Harrow Council’s cabinet recommends that the club be allowed to play their home games at The Hive in Canons Park, which is presently the team’s training ground. This follows a long running dispute between the club and Barnet Council, owners of their home – Underhill – for more than a century.

Harrow Council officers have recommended that the club is given approval to play matches at The Hive for ten years. If the move is approved, Barnet could move in time for the 2012/13 season.
