Barnet Court House will be converted to flats following the approval of plans to redevelop the site.
The facade of the building, in High Barnet High Street, will be preserved with nine flats built within the structure, and two retail units at ground floor level.
Earlier plans involving the demolition of the building were refused in 2012.
