The next phases of the re-development of the Barham Park Estate are being showcased at an exhibition later this month.
Plans from Notting Hill and Countryside for phases two and three of the 335 homes – 267 on the estate and 68 just outside on the Harrow Road – will go on show on October 21. The plans form part of the estate’s five-year regeneration programme, and include a range of property from one bedroom flats, to large family houses with gardens and are expected to be completed in 2015.
The entire estate is being re-developed by Notting Hill Housing and Countryside Properties in partnership with Brent Council. Phase one of the programme started in June 2009 with demolition of 64 properties in phase one due to be carried out this winter. The phase one re-build includes 119 properties, of which 51 maisonettes and flats will be for affordable rent, 31 flats for shared ownership and 37 homes for private sale.
