Ballymore to buy Broadwalk

The Broadwalk shopping centre in Edgware is about to be sold, it is reported.
Aberdeen Standard Investments put the centre on the market in February of this year, looking for around £60m. It is understood that Irish housebuilder Ballymore is now under offer to buy the 190,000 sq ft shopping centre for around £75m.
The Broadwalk is anchored by Sainsbury’s and TK Maxx. Aberdeen believe the site has potential for regeneration, and had looked at a range of options from building more retail and homes on the car park, to a comprehensive redevelopment.
