Ballymore may need CPO in Brentford

Ballymore’s plans for 876 waterside homes in Brentford may not be realised without using Compulsory Purchase Orders.

Ballymore obtained consent in 2014 for the homes on a site between Brentford High Street and the Grand Union Canal. They have now secured most of the 4.5 hectares, but 7% remains out of their control including buildings occupied by Natwest and Paddy Power.

Councillors may now approve the use in principle of compulsory purchase orders.
