BA posts loss, but heads for break even

BA has posted a significant loss as the ash cloud and cabin crew strikes have their effect.

The Airline posted a £164m loss for the quarter to June, with the strike and ash cloud costing them £250m. But chief executive Willie Walsh said the airline has seen an improved operating performance despite the disruptions and BA still expects to break even this year after two years of losses.
