Atlip Road complete

atlip roadMount Anvil’s Dexter Moren designed Atlip Road scheme is now complete.

“Alperton Waterside” sits on the banks of the Grand Union Canal on Atlip Road in central Alperton. The mixed use, mixed tenure development “aspires to play a key role in the creation of a vibrant waterfront precinct for people to live, play and work”, says the architect.

The project comprises a total of 186 apartments; 60, in a 13 storey tower, are private and 126 are shared ownership and RSL rented apartments and homes. All have been designed to Lifetime Homes standards. The contemporary architectural style, outdoor space and pedestrian-friendly streetscape have been designed to allow full appreciation of this waterside environment. A new mooring basin and street level cafe and commercial units will provide life for the open space and promote waterfront activity, and a new canal footbridge will help link an existing residential development on the opposite bank to the town’s transport nodes.
