Atlantic House set for approval

Plans to turn Atlantic House, in Shepherds Bush, into a 128 room hotel are set to be approved.

Council Officers have recommended approval for the plans to convert Atlantic House, which is part of the West 12 shopping centre, into a 128-room Ibis hotel with a new lobby, restaurant and bar on the ground floor in Rockley Road. The building will also be reclad and have an extra floor added.

The offices and shop units which make up the building have been empty for over two years. Officers feel that redeveloping it into a hotel will contribute to the wider regeneration of the area.

The plans are due to go before the planning committee on March 9. See previous PWL coverageor some from the Fulham Chronicle.
