Arcadia administrators look for sale

The administrators of the Arcadia site, Grant Thornton, are looking for developers and investors to acquire the site.

Plans for the site, including the Arcadia shopping centre and the site above Ealing Broadway Station had been given planning approval after a ministerial call in in 2009. The mixed use retail and residential development including nearly 600 homes never got going, then former owner Irish developer Glenkerrin went into adminisrtation and the site was acquired by the Irish Government’s distressed asset vehicle, NAMA.

The administrators have set a deadline of 5pm on 29 February 2012 for bids to be submitted.
