Anchor Hanover buys in Uxbridge

Anchor Hanover has acquired land in Uxbridge, part f the former RAF Uxbridge site,

The firm has bought a 1.53-acre site part of St Andrews Park, the 110-acre, seven-year regeneration of the former air base at one end of Uxbridge High Street. Anchor will deliver 72 one- and two-bedroom apartments offering home ownership and independent living for older people. Anchor Hanover intends to have first residents in the homes in late 2022.

Charles Taylor, head of New Business at Anchor Hanover said: “By securing land within wider development schemes we are confident that our homes will provide owners with places they will love living in later life.”

Anchor Hanover already have a number of properties in the Uxbridge area, including Woodlea Court in Cowley (pictured).
