AmWorld, which specialises in the storage and delivery of documents, packages and freight items, is expanding its presence in West London by securing the last available unit at Riverside Cargo Centre near Heathrow.
Riverside Cargo Centre is owned by the Airport Property Partnership (APP), and managed by its joint venture partner and asset manager SEGRO.
AmWorld has signed a 10 year lease on unit 1 at Riverside Cargo Centre while also signing a new 10 year lease on its current unit at Poyle 14 Business Park, also located on the West side of Heathrow Airport. The company will use its combined 36,331 sq ft of space for general storage and distribution as well as ancillary offices.
David Rustom of AmWorld said: “This expansion signals sustained growth due to continued demand, driving an expanding range of services; our courier work is now only part of a much larger offering. Our new facilities will allow us to effectively operate as a specialist supply chain solutions company, which means we act as an international logistics and fulfilment management company.”
Simon Lanyon of SEGRO, added: “We are very pleased to announce AmWorld’s expansion at Riverside Cargo Centre, as it is great to see companies expanding despite the tough economic climate. This deal also means that Riverside Cargo Centre is now fully let.”
AmWorld was represented by Aspect Property Consultants.
