Allotments could go to housing

A parcel of allotments in West Ealing could become housing.

The Northfield Avenue allotments, owned by the Ealing & Brentford Consolidated Charity, has been the subject of an offer from a housing developer, reports the Ealing Gazette. The offer was considered, but rejected, and the charity plan to keep the allotments as they are unless the right offer comes along.

The charity told the Gazette that all their properties were under constant review, to ensure the charities objectives were fulfilled, and that the idea of selling the allotments was on hold, bu that they might go back to it in the future.
