Allotment site decision delayed

A meeting to decide the future of a former allotment site has been delayed to allow consultation.

An executive meeting was scheduled to take place at Brent Town Hall on September 14 to discuss the future of the green space at the bottom of Elms Court and Elms Gardens, but the council has moved the date so that more consultation can be carried out with residents.

It is reported that the local authority is planning to sell the site to sell to a housing association to build 27 homes. See Harrow Observer coverage.
