Allies & Morrison get Arcadia job

Benson Elliott has appointed Allies & Morrison to masterplan the redevelopment of the Arcadia Centre.

They acquired the site from NAMA, who had taken it over from Glenkerrin. Previous designs by Norman Foster were approved by Ealing Council and the Mayor of London before then communities secretary John Denham refused them on call in. Glenkerrin then went in to receivership, as many overstretched irish firms did, and their assets passed to the Irish Government agency NAMA.

Allies & Morrison are also the masterplanners for Westfield’s northern extension, and the Brent Cross Cricklewood development.
