Alan will take up the post with effect from 2nd April 2012.
He has been with SEGRO for 12 years, and has been promoted from his current role as Joint Ventures Director, where he was responsible for leading SEGRO’s involvement with both the Airport Property Partnership (APP), SEGRO’s joint venture with Aviva Investors, and the Big Box industrial partnership, SEGRO’s joint venture with The Prudential, as well as its wholly-owned portfolio in London Heathrow.
Andy Gulliford, Chief Operating Officer at SEGRO, said: “We are delighted to promote Alan to this role; he has already made a tremendous contribution leading our Heathrow portfolio and has considerable experience of the wider London industrial property market. We believe this role offers fantastic career progression, as the Greater London market continues to be a strong driver for the business, representing 49 per cent of our UK portfolio and 43 per cent of lettable space.”
Alan Holland added: “I am very much looking forward to stepping into this role and taking on new challenges, working across our broad customer base. I feel my experience on SEGRO’s Heathrow portfolio has given me solid foundations for leading the Greater London market.”
SEGRO’s London assets are located across more than 60 estates and clustered around the key Heathrow, Park Royal and Greenford markets and in and around the M25, M4 and A40 corridor.
