Air Menzies confirms Heathrow move

Air Menzies International Limited has confirmed its move to a significantly sized unit at Polar Park near Heathrow.

The leading cargo and express wholesaler has now signed for 56,000 sq ft on the SEGRO owned estate. AMI will use its new space for the storage and distribution of air freight, after signing a 15 year lease.

AMI works exclusively with freight forwarders and courier companies, offering air freight and transport services around the world.

Sharon Wright, Regional VP Europe for AMI, comments: “We are delighted to be joining the Polar Park community. Proximity to Heathrow’s cargo village is vital for us, as we are constantly delivering to the airlines.”

John O’Brien of SEGRO said: “Demand for premises based near London’s busiest international airport continues, largely due to high cargo volumes handled at Heathrow,”
