Acton Town regen, consultation to open

Ealing Council should shortly open a six-week public consultation on plans for redeveloping Acton Town Hall and several surrounding sites. The regeneration plans could provide new swimming pools, a library, leisure facilities, community spaces and new council offices.

A report will be presented to the council’s Cabinet in January seeking approval for consultation on a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD), and asking to open a consultation in mid-January. The council’s Regeneration team hope work could start on the sites in 2012.
