Acton Regeneration Company is showing plans to redevelop the Oaks Shopping Centre, in Acton High Street, which could add five new shops and 124 flats.
The company acquired the centre earlier this year and expect to submit plans, which are on show in the centre now, to the council for a £60 million facelift at the end of the month, according to the Ealing Gazette.
They want to extend the existing building, adding a supermarket and more retail units. The flats, along with some office space, would be built in a 10-storey building on top of the shopping centre.
The developer told the Gazette: “The proposals will renew and improve the retail offer in Acton, creating an exciting shopping destination for the town centre. By including homes within the development we can create an active and vibrant environment which respects the local environment and complements the existing neighbourhood.”
