The Acton regeneration Company have shown new plans for a redevelopment of the Oaks Shopping Centre.
The new plans move a proposed ten storey residential tower to reduce the impact on the locals, who responded unfavourably to that aspect of the plan in an earlier consultation, despite wanting the centre to be renewed.
The new plans also have more new homes – 150 as opposed to 124, and now includes the Ealing Council owned car park site adjacent to the Oaks.
A planning application is expected before the summer. See coverage from the Ealing Gazette.
