Acton consultation closing

LB Ealing is closing a consultation on improvements to Acton Town Centre.

The £500,000 of planned improvements are the result of the council’s successful bid to the Mayor’s Outer London Fund. The proposals aim to make the high street more vibrant by improving lighting, public art, landscaping and enhancing public areas.

Proposals also include creating more appealing public spaces, improving the consistency of street furniture and signage, and working with local schools and groups on an art project.

The final information and consultation event for people to respond to the initial proposals for the town centre is on 18 January.
