A2Dominion's plans for the redevelopment of Queens Wharf on the Hammersmith Embankment have been refused.
The plans had involved a 91-flat eight storey development, with 32 of the flats as "affordable". The officer's report on the scheme said it was "un-neighbourly and out-of-keeping with the general street scene and riverside context", and that is was of "insufficient quality for its highly prominent and sensitive location".
The present buildings on the site (pictured) have been disused for some time.
